Here are some of the benefits of KMC! Hypothermia can have detrimental effects to a preterm baby including hypoglycemia (as the baby use a lot of energy trying to raise its temperature), also can worsen respiratory distress syndrome caused by poor production of surfactant. There are so many benefits of KMC 🙂
