    I think lack of mentorship, self-doubt, biological and social factors could be among the contributing factors to this issue. In many societies, especially in Africa women have more social responsibilities compared to men, causing them to have limited time to do other things. Biological factors such as pregnancy and breastfeeding can also contribute to this!

    Supporting women through mentorship, workshops and highlighting successful women may be among ways to motivate more women to publish their work!!🙂
